Not a command to the fallen or specific to Israel. At creation in perfection He who tires not, rested and sanctified (set apart) the day Holy. For Him, with Him! Saturday, Sunday, SOMEDAY FOR HIM. It is not about us, but Him.<br /> <br />IF we understood this, it would be the best day of our week. We plan our work daily. We plan our weekend ahead of time for the things we enjoy. This is a day when He ask you to give Him yourself, your time , your talent. Intimacy, Lap time with your father like a small child, we are just His little boy or girl on this day. Crawl up in His lap, lay your head on His broad chest and be at peace. Secure in His love, provision and protection. This is a day He wants to hold you, while you sleep. Listen while we ask questions. Open His word and listen to His voice. He only wants us. He is our bridegroom; this is personal time with Him with no other expectation. Just time spent with the one who love us the most.<br /><br /> Do we love Him most? It is not how little can we do and be OK? If you actually Love someone, it is disappointing when the day ends!<br /><br />Those who argue legalism are more likely struggling with apathy.<br /><br />If His loving invitation does not motivate us, then pray for a change of heart. If we do not want to ask Him? What makes us believe you are saved in the first place, when the enemy is the one we like to listen to the most? The enemy hates us, and no matter how much we obey him he will not love us. <br /><br />The demons believe and shudder.<br /> <br />God yearns for intimacy, remember the prodigal?<br />He ran….<br />He gave the robe….<br />He gave the ring….<br />He killed the calf….<br />What did the prodigal do right? Nothing… but he came home….
