Get the Word Out...Indoctrination is Coming

Tuesday, June 28, 2011 Posted by Pastor Fred Wolfe

What is one of the great take-aways my wife and I had after seeing the pre-release of the documentary? It's factual, it's fair, and it's funny. It doesn't beat you over the head if you send your kids to public school. It just shows you the spiritual condition on public education and challenges you to see if you can possibly raise your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord in that environment. Indoctrination is a call to Christian parents, reasonably argued, that public school is damaging your children. If there is a chance that this could be true, will you not take the time to watch what they have to say and weigh the facts yourself?

Your children are going to be brainwashed. There's no getting around it. You just have to pick the right soap.

While you're watching the following clips, visit the movie on facebook and like them. You will have the chance to help strengthen Christian families, and win a cornucopia of fabulous prizes! CLICK HERE TO VISIT THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE.

Day of Judgement, Day of Wonders

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 Posted by Pastor Fred Wolfe

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 2 Peter 3:10-12

Day of judgment! Day of wonders!
Hark! the trumpet's awful sound,
Louder than a thousand thunders,
Shakes the vast creation round!
How the summons wilt the sinner's heart confound!

See the Judge, our nature wearing,
Clothed in majesty divine!
You who long for His appearing
Then shall say, “This God is mine!'
Gracious Savior, own me in that day for Thine!

At His call the dead awaken,
Rise to life from earth and sea;
All the powers of nature shaken
By His look, prepares to flee.
Careless sinner, what will then become of thee!

Horrors, past imagination,
Will surprise your trembling heart,
When you hear your condemnation,
“Hence, accursed wretch, depart!
Thou, with Satan and his angels, have thy part!'

Satan, who now tries to please you,
Lest you timely warning take,
When that word is past, will seize you,
Plunge you in the burning lake:
Think, poor sinner, thy eternal all's at stake.

But to those who have confessèd,
Loved and served the Lord below,
He will say, “Come near, ye blessèd,
See the kingdom I bestow;
You forever shall My love and glory know.'

Under sorrows and reproaches,
May this thought your courage raise!
Swiftly God's great day approaches,
Sighs shall then be changed to praise.
We shall triumph when the world is in a blaze.

Why An Infinite Hell Is Just

I think of it this way:

1. God is infinite
2. God is perfectly righteous.
3. God has an infinite number of perfectly righteous qualities.
4. When a sin is committed against God, it is a sin against His perfect righteousness.
5. When one has sinned once against infinite perfection, he has sinned in an infinite number of ways.
6. If the punishment was to spend one second in hell for every way you have sinned against God, then the punishment for only one transgression would be an eternity in hell.
7. Since we have all sinned in many ways, the just punishment for mankind is an eternity in hell.

Thank God because of Jesus Christ, there is both justice and the Justifier!
