The End of The Matter
Wednesday, February 02, 2011 Posted by Pastor Fred Wolfe
An aching heart I found today
when grazed my eyes across your face
And realized you'll not long stay
My little girls: be whisked away.
Another pain raced, traced my veins
when on my boys my gaze did rest
A band of war and loving friends
Will leave behind my father-reins
Through watered eyes my thoughts then turned
To the one who bore my legacys
And realize my fears are learned
Through the failures of my faith unearned.
So what am I to do with this?
Where am I to go from here?
The end is this: to glorify
The One we are to love and fear.

Beautiful poetry. Wonderful writer. Now I know where his son gets his talent. The words are truer than you know. Their childhood is but a second and then you will remember all the things you WISH you could have fit into their lives. Savor EVERY minute.
Glorify God with them, as you have. It truly shows.

Dad I think your a great poet. I hope I can write like that someday. I love you so much. But for now stop writing and start stretching because you have got a foot ball game to win!
Love, Your son,
